Need a pick me up?
An instant confidence booster?
Something to encourage you on your journey while waiting, to become God’s best right now?
Check out the book of Psalm.
Psalm 139 is by far one of my all time favorite Psalms EVER! (If you haven’t read it, please do. Talk about true intimacy with God!)
I remember almost 10 years ago when the Lord kept me planted in this chapter for over a year. It was critical for me at that time as I was in the midst of a deep depression and desperately needed to learn and grab a hold of my identity in Christ.
Although I have read it many times since then, recently I got tripped up when I read these three words…
In utter seclusion ~Psalm 139:15
In the dark of the womb.
Have you ever considered that being in utter seclusion is purposeful?
That it may be the very place the Lord would want you to be or has placed you?
That even this dark, possibly lonely place may be necessary?
Sis, you may feel hidden or like no one sees you.
I want to remind you of a few things today, in the midst of waiting.
Pastor Furtick of Elevation Church said it best:
You don’t have to be visible to be considered valuable to God.
Don’t despise the dark places in your life, the times when God may be purposely hiding you and forming you.
It has PURPOSE.
Don’t believe me?
He says it best here:
God made everything with a place and purpose; even the wicked are included—but for judgment. ~Proverbs 16:4
The place of utter seclusion was the process where you were first formed before birth and look at the masterpiece He made-YOU! (Ephesians 2:10)
This place is also where you are being made for what you are about to birth and as you are becoming His best right NOW!
So the next time you feel this way, remember that this place is purposeful, necessary and He’s got you covered!
