I simply cannot believe it has been two years since I started this blog…
What a ride it’s been, but we made it by God’s grace!
Lady in Waiting 222 (LIW222) started out as a life group over 4 years ago, when the Lord first dropped this phrase in my spirit, out of frustration stemming from many of the same conversations I was having with friends.
I can still remember feverishly typing away on my laptop one afternoon on March 4, 2016. The Holy Spirit just began downloading words into my mind and heart that began flowing effortlessly through my fingers to the keys and onto the screen.
It has gradually evolved as He has continued to expand the vision and the significance of 222.
We’ve come a long way from that day and there is so much in store (Stay tuned, some exciting things are coming soon!) as the Lord continues to grow this ministry into whatever He desires it to be.
Although, I haven’t traveled to many of these places (yet ), the Lord has taken LIW222 around the world, from India to the UK, China to Australia and South Africa, just to name a few. It’s even been to a country I once dreamed I was traveling to several years ago, yet never even knew or believed the actual country (Kyrgyzstan) even existed until my stats showed that someone had been reading the blog from there just a few days ago!
In this year alone, from January until now, this blog has already been to 28 countries and had almost 200 visitors, compared to the almost 300 we had for the entire year in 2016.
Only God! I take absolutely no credit for that.
I am excited about what is to come for this year and beyond. I am humbled and grateful, though undeserving, that He would choose me and use my experiences and choices-the painful and the triumphant ones-to encourage someone else. (In fact, one of the most read blog posts was a 3 part series I wrote about a part of my shocking testimony. I later shared it on camera for the first time publicly last year.)
I have heard countless testimonies and answered prayers through this blog and that’s where I truly get the most joy-seeing someone’s hope and faith restored and someone drawing closer to Jesus or falling in love with Him all over again!
Thank you to all of you who have supported, encouraged, read, liked, shared or commented on a post, or even if you have been a silent reader/supporter or observer! I truly thank God for each of you.
The best is yet to come and I am looking forward to being able to continue to do even more to support, encourage, empower and equip women to become God’s best right NOW, while waiting…for whatever.
Ultimately, we are waiting for Him, the Bridegroom to come!
