Are you praying prayers based on your own personal comfort rather than God’s glory?
Have you determined to praise God even when the answer is ‘No’ or “Not yet”, believing that it may just be because you are asking for the wrong thing or the wrong reason i.e. motives)?
The best answer [to a prayer] is very rarely what is most convenient or comfortable for us. The best answer is always what brings God the most glory. ~Unknown

(Check out my previous post on what we need to consider when we are praying and asking God for something. )
When our circumstances don’t change, it’s often an indication that God is trying to change us. The primary purpose of prayer is not to change circumstances; the primary purpose of prayer is to change us. ~Mark Batterson
Prayer
