Who remembers the movie The Terminator?
We all probably remember the famous line in this movie when he says,
I’ll be back.
Can you imagine God saying this to us?
Actually…He did.
Well not like Arnold said it, but He did say it in John 14:3.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. (AMP)
Jesus said He was going to prepare a dwelling place for us in His Father’s house and then He would be back for us, so that where He is, we can be also.
I don’t know about you, but this gives me great hope, especially with the state of this chaotic, broken world–that one day I will get to be with Jesus forever.
In the place He is preparing just for me…and you.
Rest in this truth this week…that Jesus will be back for you to take you where He is.
The beauty of this truth is we can take advantage of this today because He is already with us wherever we are if we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior.
