Anyone else love Panera as much as I do?
Looking back at this picture below from a couple of months ago, I am just in awe of how my God answers prayers!
He is so good and so intentional.
Let me set the scene for you.
I usually go to Panera once a week, usually on Thursday mornings before work. It’s a tradition I have been doing for over 5 years now.
I so look forward to this time to sip my Hazelnut coffee (filled with way too much cream and sugar) and sit with Jesus.
Some of my best blog posts come from this time with Him as well.
Well this particular morning, I was there on a Friday instead of my usual Thursday mornings.
For some reason, I just didn’t feel that I should have gone that day.
Plus, I was extremely tired…and frustrated.
This particular Friday morning, I was sitting at the table that I usually sit at and journaling, asking the Lord for His strategy plan RE: this book that I was writing.
I had told Him (several times I might add) that I didn’t know what I was doing, hence my frustration.
I knew that I could research a lot of ideas for promotion, like book tours, a book release party, etc, but I just felt like the Lord really wanted me to rely on the Holy Spirit to lead this project.
I had literally just written down this prayer, asking for His strategy, along with this scripture I had just read,
Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose. ~Psalm 25:12, NLT
Right then, a woman who I have seen several times in this particular Panera before walks over to me and said,
I have seen you here several times and this question is kind of personal, but are you one of those people who comes here to do your business?
(Now, in my head, I thought, “she doesnt even know that she is speaking prophetically”, because ultimately this is my goal and desire.)
I laughed and said,
No, I just come here once a week to sit, journal, read and talk to the Lord.
She asked if there was anything specific that she could pray for me and I was like,
”Wow, Lord!”
I told her about the book and that I had literally just asked the Lord for help.
She says,
Well, this is certainly a God moment.
Indeed it was!
The next thing that comes out of her mouth is nothing short of amazing.
She begins to tell me about her church and that they had just started a group last month for authors and writers.
The group provides support, encouragement, resources and prayer and she invited me to come the following week.
I could have cried (well I did tear up) and was just in awe.
Our God is AH-mazing! In this midst of that crazy week and through everything going on at my job, I am so thankful that the Lord came by and paid me a visit!
While I can say, Oh Panera, how I’ve loved you, and I do mean it, truthfully, God has created so many special moments for me at Panera, how could I not love it… and Him even more?!
**By the way, I can now officially say I am a published author. To find out more about my book, visit www.lifecoachcharlene.com/aboutpray
Brought tears to my eyes! And the Lord continues to build on the blessings of that day! So thankful for you, my new friend.
