Have you ever known you were called to do something by the Lord but you feel so unqualified, or even unworthy and find yourself wondering, “Why me?”
Perhaps you may have even talked yourself out of doing it or delayed the process.
A few weeks ago, I had to remind a friend of mine about this week’s scripture.
She has been called to start an awesome ministry, but was feeling overwhelmed and unqualified to do it.
(BTW my new favorite translation is The Passion Translation!)
You didn’t choose me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for my sake, he will give it to you! ~John 15:16
This, my dear sister, is your qualifier.
Jesus chose YOU!
Jesus commissioned YOU!
Truth be told, if He left it up to us, we would not have chosen for ourselves MANY of the things He has called us to do in this earth.
This week, rest in this truth if you are having feelings of doubt, confidence or unworthiness.
The ONLY qualifier you need to step out and do what He is calling you to do, even while waiting, is knowing that He selected you.
Then Get To Work!
