A couple weeks ago, I talked about the one thing that qualifies you to do what God is calling you to do, especially while you are becoming God’s best right now as you are waiting.
Can I be honest with you all?
Fear has gripped me a bit as I consider the things God has been calling me to do related to my purpose.
There are so many questions I have, not about what He has called me to do, but all that it requires and whether or not anything will come of it.
One such thing is a major project I finally completed after 7 years! (Please don’t wait that long to do what the Lord asks you to do!)
There have been some things attached to this project that I need to start, but have been sitting on.
Well a few weeks back, I had a revelation (or more like the Holy Spirit whispered something to me) as I was writing out programs and stuff I want to offer with the new coaching website I am working on.
He said:
The reason you fear doing stuff is because you are relying on yourself to bring results. Did you forget you partnered with Me? It’s your job to be obedient and continue to partner with Me. It’s My job to bring results.
While you are waiting and becoming God’s best right now, don’t forget that you have the best Partner on this journey right alongside you.
If you are having any fear in stepping out and doing what you know the Lord has been calling you to do, ask yourself,
Is it because I am relying on myself or the Lord?
Am I being obedient to whatever He said or have I put faith in me?
As you consider your answer to the questions above, ask the best Partner you could ever have in life, the Holy Spirit, to help you to:
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on (rely on) your own understanding of what lies ahead of you, but to acknowledge the Lord in all your ways so He can show you which path to take. (Prov. 3:5-6)
- Be obedient to whatever God has asked you to do.
I know personally that your Partner won’t let you down!
