Sis, I just wanted to send you this little reminder that God spoke to me.
Proverbs 11:25, TPT
Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them,
and the one who pours out his [or her] life to pour out blessings
will be saturated with favor.
I am now just beginning to understand Proverbs 11:25, that s[he] who refreshes others will be refreshed. I am amazed at how the Lord continually shows up for me in ways unimaginable!
Even in my serving, He is serving me as well.
In the pit of depression, He came for me and sought me out.
When I ignored Him, He pursued and wooed me anyway.
When I denied Him, He claimed me and stamped me.
When I shut Him out, He still kept and keeps knocking on the walls of my heart.
When I got muddied in sin, He stooped down, dug for me, lifted me out, and cleansed me.
Diamonds, although made out of carbon, also possess 3 other crucial elements: pressure, heat and time. (Reference)
Sis, whatever you may be experiencing now, in this season of waiting, may be one or all 3 of those crucial elements above. I want to encourage you to continue being a blessing, continue seeking Him, continue pursuing Him and keep praying. It may not seem worth it now, but one day you will look up and be able to thank God for the things He used to help you become His best!
Thank you Jesus for your endless grace, Your forgiveness, and Your tender mercies that are new every morning.
