[31 Days of Prayer] Day 11: Prayers for Cameroon

Hi all,

I decided to join with Beth Moore and do the 31 Days of Prayer, where we will be praying for 31 days for the month of July. I decided to include my prayers here for each country I am praying for and as the Holy Spirit leads. I pray you will join me.

This is the confidence [I] have before Him: If [I] ask anything according to His will, He hears [me]. And if [I] know that He hears whatever [I] ask [I] know that [I] have what [I] asked of Him.”

1 John 5:14-15, CSB (emphasis mine)

(Using John 11 to guide these prayers)

Father, I pray:

• That the believers in Cameroon would continue to stand having done all, to stand
• That as they rebuild the homes and churches destroyed by Boko Haram in Cameroon, they would do it not by power, not by might but by the Spirit of God
• that the believers in Cameroon would not lose hope in the rebuilding process, but that they would look to the hills to where their help comes from
• That the believers in Cameroon will be strengthened and encouraged by the prayers of their brothers and sisters around the globe who are going before the Lord today on their behalf
• That the resources to rebuild homes and churches destroyed by Boko Haram would be provided for in surplus just as God did in Nehemiah’s day when he rebuilt the temple
• That God would use the opportunity to physically rebuild the homes and churches in Cameroon and also to rebuild and fortify the strength of the believers in Cameroon
• That the believers in Cameroon would join together as a unified front as they come together to complete the physical rebuilding of homes and churches destroyed by Boko Haram
• That Jesus will intervene and tend to those who are very sick in Cameroon, both physically and spiritually
• That the miracles and healings happening in Cameroon will be many in order for the glory of God to be displayed
• That those in Cameroon who may have received death reports are receiving their healing and a reversal so that they may live and not die and to declare the works of the Lord
• That the believers in Cameroon will hold on to the fact that Jesus loves them even when He delays His response to their request to come and see about those who are sick
• That Jesus is waking up the people of Cameroon from their spiritual slumber and allowing the opportunity to walk the Light of Christ instead of continuing tot stumble around in the spiritual darkness
• That the spiritually dead and physically dead in Cameroon may believe in Jesus and are being raised to life by the power of the Holy Spirit
• That those in Cameroon who have lost hope because the Lord didn’t respond right away to their requests to heal someone they love will find hope again in Jesus and be encouraged
• That the people of Cameroon will recognize and understand that Jesus is the resurrection and the life so they may believe in Him and live, even after dying
• That many in Cameroon, even in the face of death and tragedy, would believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and the One who has come into the world from God
• That the people of Cameroon would be overwhelmed by the love and compassion of Jesus as He comes to see about them
• That the Lord is rolling away the stones that are around the hardened hearts of those who have rejected Jesus in Cameroon
• That the people of Cameroon would believed that they see the glory of God
• That the Lord continues to call forth the Lazaruses who have died in Cameroon
• That the believers who are witnessing Lazaruses coming forth and becoming spiritually alive in Christ will unwrap them from the grave clothes they are wearing that they may walk in freedom and healing
• That many others in Cameroon will believe in Jesus after they see the spiritually dead and the physically dead raised to life by the power of God
• That the people of Cameroon will believe that one Man, the Man Christ Jesus, died for their whole nation as well as the world
• That many in Cameroon would witness how Jesus’ death has brought together and united all the children of God scattered around the world
• That those in Cameroon who are actively looking for Christ will have a personal encounter with Him and choose to follow Him

Prayer in French:

Seigneur Jésus je prie,

Que les croyants au Cameroun continueraient à se tenir debout après avoir tout fait, à se tenir debout
Qu'en reconstruisant les maisons et les églises détruites par Boko Haram au Cameroun, ils ne le feraient pas par le pouvoir, non par la force mais par l'Esprit de Dieu
que les croyants au Cameroun ne perdraient pas espoir dans le processus de reconstruction, mais qu'ils se tourneraient vers les collines d'où vient leur aide
Que les croyants du Cameroun soient fortifiés et encouragés par les prières de leurs frères et sœurs du monde entier qui vont devant le Seigneur aujourd'hui en leur nom
Que les ressources pour reconstruire les maisons et les églises détruites par Boko Haram seraient excédentaires, tout comme Dieu l'a fait à l'époque de Néhémie lorsqu'il a reconstruit le temple
Que Dieu profiterait de l'occasion pour reconstruire physiquement les maisons et les églises au Cameroun et aussi pour reconstruire et fortifier la force des croyants au Cameroun
Que les croyants au Cameroun se réunissent en un front unifié pour achever la reconstruction physique des maisons et des églises détruites par Boko Haram
Que Jésus intervienne et s'occupe de ceux qui sont très malades au Cameroun, tant physiquement que spirituellement
Que les miracles et guérisons qui se produisent au Cameroun seront nombreux pour que la gloire de Dieu s'affiche
Que ceux au Cameroun qui peuvent avoir reçu des rapports de décès reçoivent leur guérison et un renversement afin qu'ils puissent vivre et ne pas mourir et déclarer les œuvres du Seigneur
Que les croyants au Cameroun s'accrocheront au fait que Jésus les aime même lorsqu'il tarde à répondre à leur demande de venir voir ceux qui sont malades
Que Jésus réveille le peuple camerounais de son sommeil spirituel et lui donne l'opportunité de marcher dans la Lumière du Christ au lieu de continuer à trébucher dans les ténèbres spirituelles
Que les morts spirituellement et physiquement morts au Cameroun puissent croire en Jésus et soient ressuscités par la puissance du Saint-Esprit
Que ceux au Cameroun qui ont perdu espoir parce que le Seigneur n'a pas répondu tout de suite à leurs demandes de guérir quelqu'un qu'ils aiment retrouveront espoir en Jésus et seront encouragés
Que le peuple camerounais reconnaisse et comprenne que Jésus est la résurrection et la vie afin qu'il puisse croire en Lui et vivre, même après sa mort
Que beaucoup au Cameroun, même face à la mort et à la tragédie, croiraient que Jésus est le Messie, le Fils de Dieu et Celui qui est venu au monde de Dieu
Que le peuple camerounais soit submergé par l'amour et la compassion de Jésus alors qu'il vient voir pour eux
Que le Seigneur roule les pierres qui entourent les cœurs endurcis de ceux qui ont rejeté Jésus au Cameroun
Que le peuple camerounais croirait voir la gloire de Dieu
Que le Seigneur continue d'appeler les Lazares morts au Cameroun
Que les croyants qui voient Lazare sortir et devenir spirituellement vivant en Christ les déballeront des vêtements funéraires qu'ils portent afin qu'ils puissent marcher dans la liberté et la guérison
Que beaucoup d'autres au Cameroun croiront en Jésus après avoir vu les morts spirituellement et les morts physiquement ressuscités par la puissance de Dieu
Que le peuple camerounais croie qu'un seul Homme, l'Homme Christ Jésus, est mort pour toute sa nation ainsi que pour le monde
Que beaucoup au Cameroun seraient témoins de la façon dont la mort de Jésus a réuni et uni tous les enfants de Dieu dispersés dans le monde
Que ceux au Cameroun qui recherchent activement le Christ aient une rencontre personnelle avec Lui et choisissent de Le suivre
