Hi all,
I decided to join with Beth Moore and do the 31 Days of Prayer, where we will be praying for 31 days for the month of July. I decided to include my prayers here for each country I am praying for and as the Holy Spirit leads. I pray you will join me.
This is the confidence [I] have before Him: If [I] ask anything according to His will, He hears [me]. And if [I] know that He hears whatever [I] ask [I] know that [I] have what [I] asked of Him.”
1 John 5:14-15, CSB (emphasis mine)
(Using John 13 to guide these prayers)
Father, I pray:
- That You Lord are melting away the hardness of hearts of people in the Philippines and replacing it with a heart of flesh so that they may accept You Lord Jesus in their hearts
- That the people of the Philippines would cry out to God with repentant hearts and believe in the Lord Jesus
- That the Filipino people’s eyes will no longer be blinded to the truth of Jesus and the Gospel, and just as Paul’s eyes were opened on the Damascus road in Acts 9, they will make the decision to chose Christ
- That those in the Philippines who have opposed the church would respond to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and repent that they may be saved
- For radical encounters with Christ for the Filipino people
- That believers in the Philippines would exhibit the same kind of love Jesus did during His ministry on earth–loving to the very end.
- That the Lord’s goodness and kindness will lead the people of the Philippines to repentance
- That believers in the Philippines would serve their fellow people in a spirit and posture of humility, just as Jesus did, taking a lowly position and posture
- That the people of the Philippines will lay aside pride and allow themselves to be washed but the servants of God in their country and to be washed by the Word of God, leading to transformation
- That those in the Philippines who would betray Jesus by denying that they know Him would be exposed so that they would have an opportunity to repent and turn from their wicked ways
- That believers in the Philippines are serving one another with a posture of humility and washing their fellow brothers and sisters’ feet
- That the believers in the Philippines would not consider themselves or take on an attitude of being superior than anyone else, greater than slaves, or think that the messenger is more important than the one who sends the message
- That many in the Philippines would believe that Jesus is the Messiah, as they welcome His messengers who are sharing the Gospel into their homes and other places
- That the people of the Philippines would no longer be a vessel for satan to enter into and use for his own plans, but would respond to the Holy Spirit as He draws them to surrender to Jesus
- That believers in the Philippines would be discerning of those among them and would be able to readily recognize those who have betrayed Jesus in their midst and be led by the Holy Spirit with how to respond them
- That believers in the Philippines would continue to bring glory to the Lord in how they live amongst their people so others may come to Christ
- That believers in the Philippines would love each other just as Jesus has loved them in order to show the world and the people in their country that they are disciples of Jesus
- that believers in the Philippines would release any pride in their hearts similar to what Peter carried, which caused him to make lose that he broke when he denied Jesus
- That an outpouring of the Holy Spirit would flow throughout the country of the Philippines as the body of believers unite together and worship the Lord boldly and through their actions

Panginoong Hesus nagdadasal ako, Natutunaw ng Iyong Panginoon ang tigas ng mga puso ng mga tao sa Pilipinas at pinalitan ito ng isang pusong laman upang tanggapin nila Ikaw na Panginoong Jesus sa kanilang mga puso Na ang mga mamamayan ng Pilipinas ay sumisigaw sa Diyos na may nagsisising puso at naniniwala sa Panginoong Jesus Na ang mga mata ng mamamayang Pilipino ay hindi na mabubulag sa katotohanan ni Jesus at ng Ebanghelyo, at tulad ng pagbukas ng mga mata ni Paul sa daang Damsyo sa Mga Gawa 9, magpapasya sila na piliin si Kristo Na ang mga nasa Pilipinas na tutol sa simbahan ay tutugon sa paniniwala ng Banal na Espiritu at magsisi na sila ay maligtas Para sa mga radikal na pakikipagtagpo kay Kristo para sa sambayanang Pilipino Na ang mga mananampalataya sa Pilipinas ay magpapakita ng parehong uri ng pagmamahal na ginawa ni Jesus sa panahon ng Kanyang ministeryo sa mundo - mapagmahal hanggang sa wakas. Na ang mga mamamayan ng Pilipinas ay magtatabi ng pagmamataas at papayagang malabhan ngunit ang mga lingkod ng Diyos sa kanilang bansa at hugasan ng Salita ng Diyos, na humahantong sa pagbabago. ***Tomorrow is not promised. Today is all we have. If you are reading this and haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior, would you consider doing so right now? Jesus died so He could have a personal relationship with you and so that one day, when you leave this earth, you can spend eternity with Him. You can say a prayer similar to this:
Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. You showed Your great love for me, while I was in my sinful state, by sending Jesus Christ to die for me. Today, right now, I declare that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Please enter into my heart, Lord Jesus, forgive me of all of my sins, and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose this day to live for You, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
