Hi all,
I decided to join with Beth Moore and do the 31 Days of Prayer, where we will be praying for 31 days for the month of July. I decided to include my prayers here for each country I am praying for and as the Holy Spirit leads. I pray you will join me.
This is the confidence [I] have before Him: If [I] ask anything according to His will, He hears [me]. And if [I] know that He hears whatever [I] ask [I] know that [I] have what [I] asked of Him.”
1 John 5:14-15, CSB (emphasis mine)
(Using John 17 and 1 Peter 5:8-11 to guide these prayers)
Father, I pray:
- That the believers in Brunei will be well balanced and always alert, because they know their enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour
- That the believers in Brunei will take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith
- That believers in Brunei will be encouraged because they know that their believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles they endure
- That the believers in Brunei, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called them to share in His eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore them and make them stronger than ever.
- That You, Lord, will set the believers in Brunei firmly in place and build them up and You, Father, have all the power needed to do this—forever
- That the leaders in Brunei will have their eyes opened and their ears inclined to hear the truth and Good News of the Gospel and want to know about Jesus
- That the believers in Brunei would continue to present Jesus of the Bible, not Jesus of their own understanding, or Jesus of culture or a false Jesus so that leaders and many in Brunei will receive Christ
- That believers in Brunei will continue to give all glory back to You, Lord, and that as the Light of Christ shines brightly in their lives, others would be drawn to Jesus
- That the authority Jesus has given to them that He Himself has received from You Father will be used in a way that honors You Lord
- That believers in Brunei will be able to articulate simply and clearly the way to have eternal life–to know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ, the One You, Lord, sent to the earth
- That the believers in Brunei will bring glory to You, Lord, here on earth by completing the work You have given them to do
- That the believers in Brunei will continue to share with others in their country and the ones You, Lord, place in their path, about Jesus Christ
- That believers in Brunei will continue to remember that those You have given them Lord to steward and share the Gospel with ultimately belong to You, that they too will turn to Jesus and keep Your Word
- That believers in Brunei are reminded that everything You, Father, have given them is a gift from You and they are called to pas on the message You, Lord, gave them
- That many in Brunei would receive the message of Christ accept it, know Jesus came from the Lord and believe that Jesus was sent by God
- That believers in Brunei are encouraged by the prayer of Jesus, and may they stand in the truth that were given to Jesus by God Himself so they belong to Him
- That believers in Brunei are encouraged to know the not only has God given them to Jesus, He has claimed them as His own and they are called to bring Him glory
- That You, Lord, protect the believers in Brunei by the power of Your name so that they will be united as Jesus, the Lord and the Holy Spirit are One
- That believers in Brunei remember that they are guarded by the blood of Jesus so that not one of them is lost
- That You would continue to remind them of the things Jesus said through Your Word by the power of the Holy Spirit so they can continue to be filled with joy
- That believers in Brunei would take heart that although the world hates them, because they no longer belong to it, You, Father, are keeping them safe from the evil one, satan
- That believers in Brunei are being made holy by the truth of God’s Word so that it may be visible to all those in their country who do not yet know Jesus
- That believers in Brunei will continue to be taught by Your Word, which is truth
- That believers in Brunei, as they have been sent into the world to proclaim the Good News, they will be reminded and encouraged by Jesus’ sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by Your truth Lord and stand firmly in it
- That because Jesus is praying for those right now in Brunei who don’t yet know Him, but will believe in Him because of the believers in Brunei sharing the message of Christ, revival will erupt all over Brunei and Asia
- That believers in Brunei will be one just as Jesus and the Lord are One
- That the believers in Brunei be reminded that they are in Christ and that this would led their actions so that the world may believe Jesus was sent by God
- That believers in Brunei would operate in the glory given them by Christ so that they will continue to be one body
- That believers in Brunei would experience such perfect unity that it will be undeniable evidence to the world that Jesus was sent by God and that God loves them and this world so much
- That believers in Brunei would continue to experience revelation for the Father through Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit
- That believers in Brunei will continue to embrace the love, You, Lord have for Jesus and that this love will continue to abide in their hearts so they can share the Gospel with others in Brunei in truth and love

***Tomorrow is not promised. Today is all we have. If you are reading this and haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior, would you consider doing so right now? Jesus died so He could have a personal relationship with you and so that one day, when you leave this earth, you can spend eternity with Him. You can say a prayer similar to this:
Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. You showed Your great love for me, while I was in my sinful state, by sending Jesus Christ to die for me. Today, right now, I declare that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Please enter into my heart, Lord Jesus, forgive me of all of my sins, and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose this day to live for You, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
