Hi all,
I decided to join with Beth Moore and do the 31 Days of Prayer, where we will be praying for 31 days for the month of July. I decided to include my prayers here for each country I am praying for and as the Holy Spirit leads. I pray you will join me.
This is the confidence [I] have before Him: If [I] ask anything according to His will, He hears [me]. And if [I] know that He hears whatever [I] ask [I] know that [I] have what [I] asked of Him.”
1 John 5:14-15, CSB (emphasis mine)
(Using John 21 and Romans 15:13 to guide these prayers)
Father, I pray:
- For the lives of pastors and church leaders in Vietnam and their commitment to serving the people of Vietnam with the love of Christ
- That You, Lord, will strengthen Vietnamese pastors and church leaders in their faith as they watch You exceed their needs for training and material support
- That resources will be provided in Vietnam for the Gospel to be spread across the country and that many would be saved
- That You, Lord, would continue to prosper the hearts and minds of Your creation to continue to create resources and materials as well as facilitate training for Vietnamese pastor and leaders
- That believers in Vietnam won’t return to their old way of life prior to Jesus calling them away from that way of life to build His Kingdom
- That those believers in Vietnam who are discouraged because they may believe Jesus has deserted them or don’t sense Him near would be encouraged as He meets them in the place He first called them
- That believers in Vietnam who have been attempting to make a living, but now what they once did best has failed them, they would actively look for Jesus to help them
- That believers in Vietnam would follow Jesus’ instructions as He leads them in their daily lives and in everything they endeavor to do
- That believers in Vietnam would respond to the voice and presence of the Lord and continually run to Him with no reservation
- That believers in Vietnam would follow the instructions of the Lord on how to catch fish, i.e. lead others to Christ
- That believers in Vietnam would trust the Lord’s provision for them in every area
- That believers in Vietnam would trust Jesus to provide food for them and those they love
- That many in Vietnam would recognize Jesus as Lord when He calls to them and give their life to Him
- That believers in Vietnam, because they love the Lord, they would continue to feed the people of God as the Holy Spirit leads
- That believers in Vietnam would continue to care for the Lord’s sheep with the tender care of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ
- That believers in Vietnam who have gone astray or veered off the path Jesus has called them to would return to Christ and follow Him once again
- That believers in Vietnam would not be concerned with others’ walk with Jesus, but would stay focused on what He has called them specifically to do and follow Jesus wholeheartedly
- That the love of Christ would overtake the people of Vietnam, piercing their hearts so they will embrace Christ as their own
- That the hearts of those who are persecuting believers in Vietnam would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and true change would result in them giving their life to Christ
- That You, Lord, would cover and protect mothers and babies in Vietnam and remind them that He sees them, that they are loved and cared for
- That You, God, the Source of hope, will fill the people of Vietnam completely with joy and peace because they decide to trust in Him and so that they will then overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. AMEN!

Lạy Chúa Giêsu, con cầu nguyện, Vì cuộc sống của các mục sư và lãnh đạo Hội thánh tại Việt Nam và cam kết phục vụ nhân dân Việt Nam với tình yêu thương của Đấng Christ Lạy Chúa, Chúa sẽ củng cố đức tin của các mục sư và lãnh đạo Hội thánh Việt Nam khi họ chứng kiến Chúa vượt quá nhu cầu đào tạo và hỗ trợ vật chất của họ Các nguồn lực đó sẽ được cung cấp tại Việt Nam để Phúc Âm được truyền bá khắp đất nước và nhiều người sẽ được cứu Lạy Chúa, xin Ngài tiếp tục phát huy trái tim và khối óc sáng tạo của Ngài để tiếp tục tạo nguồn lực và tài liệu cũng như tạo điều kiện đào tạo cho các mục sư và các nhà lãnh đạo Việt Nam. Rằng các tín hữu ở Việt Nam sẽ không trở lại lối sống cũ trước khi Chúa Giê-su kêu gọi họ từ bỏ lối sống đó để xây dựng Vương quốc của Ngài Rằng những tín đồ ở Việt Nam nản lòng vì họ có thể tin rằng Chúa Giê-xu đã bỏ rơi họ hoặc không cảm nhận được Ngài đang ở gần sẽ được khích lệ khi Ngài gặp họ tại nơi mà Ngài đã gọi họ lần đầu. Rằng những tín đồ ở Việt Nam đã cố gắng kiếm sống, nhưng bây giờ những gì họ từng làm tốt nhất đã thất bại, họ sẽ tích cực tìm kiếm Chúa Giê-xu để giúp họ. Rằng những người tin Chúa ở Việt Nam sẽ làm theo chỉ dẫn của Chúa Giê-su khi Ngài dẫn dắt họ trong cuộc sống hàng ngày và trong mọi việc họ cố gắng làm Rằng các tín đồ ở Việt Nam sẽ đáp lại tiếng nói và sự hiện diện của Chúa và liên tục chạy đến với Ngài mà không cần đặt trước Các tín đồ ở Việt Nam sẽ làm theo sự hướng dẫn của Chúa về cách đánh bắt cá, tức là dẫn người khác đến với Chúa. Rằng các tín đồ ở Việt Nam sẽ tin cậy sự cung cấp của Chúa cho họ trong mọi lĩnh vực Rằng các tín đồ ở Việt Nam sẽ tin cậy Chúa Giê-su sẽ cung cấp thức ăn cho họ và những người họ yêu thương Nhiều người ở Việt Nam sẽ nhận ra Chúa Giê-xu là Chúa khi Ngài kêu gọi họ và dâng cuộc đời họ cho Ngài Những người tin Chúa tại Việt Nam, vì yêu mến Chúa, họ sẽ tiếp tục nuôi dân Chúa như Chúa Thánh Thần dẫn dắt. Rằng các tín hữu ở Việt Nam sẽ tiếp tục chăm sóc đàn chiên của Chúa với sự chăm sóc dịu dàng của Vị Mục Tử Nhân Lành, Chúa Giê Su Ky Tô Rằng những tín đồ ở Việt Nam, những người đã đi lạc hoặc đi chệch con đường mà Chúa Giê-xu kêu gọi họ sẽ trở lại với Đấng Christ và theo Ngài một lần nữa Những người tin Chúa ở Việt Nam sẽ không bận tâm đến việc người khác bước đi với Chúa Giê-xu, nhưng sẽ tập trung vào những gì Ngài đã kêu gọi họ đặc biệt phải làm và hết lòng theo Chúa Giê-xu. Rằng tình yêu của Chúa Kitô sẽ tràn qua người dân Việt Nam, đâm thấu trái tim của họ để họ sẽ đón nhận Chúa Kitô như của chính mình Rằng trái tim của những người đang bức hại tín đồ ở Việt Nam sẽ bị kết tội bởi Đức Thánh Linh và sự thay đổi thực sự sẽ dẫn đến việc họ dâng cuộc đời mình cho Đấng Christ. Chúa sẽ che chở và bảo vệ các bà mẹ và trẻ sơ sinh tại Việt Nam và nhắc nhở họ rằng Ngài nhìn thấy họ, rằng họ được yêu thương và chăm sóc Rằng Ngài, Thiên Chúa, Nguồn hy vọng, sẽ tràn đầy niềm vui và bình an cho người dân Việt Nam hoàn toàn bởi vì họ quyết định tin cậy nơi Ngài và để sau đó họ sẽ tràn đầy hy vọng vững tin nhờ quyền năng của Chúa Thánh Thần. ***Tomorrow is not promised. Today is all we have. If you are reading this and haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior, would you consider doing so right now? Jesus died so He could have a personal relationship with you and so that one day, when you leave this earth, you can spend eternity with Him. You can say a prayer similar to this:
Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. You showed Your great love for me, while I was in my sinful state, by sending Jesus Christ to die for me. Today, right now, I declare that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Please enter into my heart, Lord Jesus, forgive me of all of my sins, and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose this day to live for You, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
