Hi all,
I decided to join with Beth Moore and do the 31 Days of Prayer, where we will be praying for 31 days for the month of July. I decided to include my prayers here for each country I am praying for and as the Holy Spirit leads. I pray you will join me.
This is the confidence [I] have before Him: If [I] ask anything according to His will, He hears [me]. And if [I] know that He hears whatever [I] ask [I] know that [I] have what [I] asked of Him.”
1 John 5:14-15, CSB (emphasis mine)
(Using Acts 6 to guide these prayers)
Father, I pray:
- That You, Lord, are leading and guiding the ministries focused on serving and discipling Turkish Christians by the instruction of Your Holy Spirit
- That You, Lord, stir up Turkish Christians the hunger and thirst for studying Your Word and applying it to their daily lives
- That Turkish Christians would be encouraged and strengthened in their faith as they grow in deeper intimacy with You, Lord, because of the work of the ministries that are serving them
- That You, Lord, would to provide insight to these ministries that are focused on the discipleship of Turkish Christians to meet them at the point of need
- That You, Lord, would make provision for these ministries to have what they need to continue to disciple Turkish Christians the way You have called them to
- That any division rising up among believers in Turkey as believers are multiplying rapidly would be settled by leaders in Turkish churches coming together and being led by the Holy Spirit to address the needs of the people
- That widows in Turkey will not be discriminated against in the daily distribution of food but will receive what they need
- That believers in Turkey would seek wisdom from the Lord on how to balance teaching the Word of God, but also meeting the needs of believers there by selecting leaders who are well respected, full of the Spirit of God and wisdom to assist
- That believers in Turkey who are leaders are managing themselves well in the time given to them to pray and teach God’s Word
- That the number of believers in Turkey will continue to increase in cities all over Turkey as the Gospel message continues to spread
- That many in Turkey would not be able to stand against the wisdom and the Spirit of God through how believers in Turkey are continuing to share the message of Christ
- That no weapon of lies spoken against believers in Turkey will prosper
- That all lying witnesses in Turkey speaking out against believers in Turkey would be exposed and choose to repent
- That believers in Turkey will continue to stand bold in the Holy Spirit, not backing down as they continue the work of teaching God’s Word and spreading the Gospel

But before you go…
***Tomorrow is not promised. Today is all we have. If you are reading this and haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior, would you consider doing so right now? Jesus died so He could have a personal relationship with you and so that one day, when you leave this earth, you can spend eternity with Him. You can say a prayer similar to this:
Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. You showed Your great love for me, while I was in my sinful state, by sending Jesus Christ to die for me. Today, right now, I declare that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Please enter into my heart, Lord Jesus, forgive me of all of my sins, and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose this day to live for You, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
