Hi all,
I decided to join with Beth Moore and do the 31 Days of Prayer, where we will be praying for 31 days for the month of July. I decided to include my prayers here for each country I am praying for and as the Holy Spirit leads. I pray you will join me.
This is the confidence [I] have before Him: If [I] ask anything according to His will, He hears [me]. And if [I] know that He hears whatever [I] ask [I] know that [I] have what [I] asked of Him.”
1 John 5:14-15, CSB (emphasis mine)
(Using Acts 7 to guide these prayers)
Father, I pray:
- For the 3 men in Iran who were recently sentenced to 5 years in prison under a new law for refusing to renounce their Christian faith, that they may be strengthened in their faith and encouraged to know that brothers and sisters around the world are praying for them
- That when the 3 men in prison in Iran submit an appeal for their case, it will be granted for them to be released and while they wait, may You increase their faith in You
- For protection for the family of these 3 men in Iran who are imprisoned and that their family members will not grow weary while doing good and that they may be encouraged to stand firm, having done all, to stand
- That while they are in prison, You, Lord would continue to full with joy would spill over to the other prisoners, providing them opportunities to share the reason for their hope in Christ
- That those who are sending print and digital Scriptures to believers in Iran would be protected from the evil one
- That what the enemy meant for evil, in attempting to stop Christians in Iran from receiving print and digital materials will be turned around for Iranian Christians’ good and Your glory, Lord.
- That You, Lord, would allow the right Scriptures to be received at the right time for the believers in Iran that will be so specific to their needs that it will confirm that You have heard their prayers
- That Iranian Christians would develop deep roots in Christ and be firmly planted like trees by living water, bringing forth fruit in its season
- For opportunities for the 3 Christian men in Iran who have been imprisoned to witness to all those they encounter within the court system and the prison system about Jesus
- That Iranian Christians would have the boldness Stephen, Acts 7, exemplified in before those in government and leaders in high places to share with them the Good News of Jesus
- That Iranian Christians be reminded that God is with them, just as He was with Joseph, who was sold into slavery in Egypt and God will rescue them from all their troubles as He did for Joseph
- That You, Lord, would grant believers in Iran favor before leaders and unusual wisdom to use for Your glory and to carry out Your will in the earth
- That the number of believers in Iran would continue to increase, even in the face of persecution and oppression
- That many in Iran would continue to witness firsthand the strength and growth of the body of Christ in Iran despite efforts to hinder them, and this would draw them to want to know Christ
- That You, Lord, would continue to appear to many in Iran in visions and dreams, drawing them to Christ
- That You, Lord, are softening the hearts of those in Iran to receive the Gospel who have previously rejected it
- That You would provide understanding to those in Iran who hear the Gospel and that believers in Iran who are communicating it will be able to communicate the message of Christ in a way that is clear
- For those in Iran who refuse to listen to those God is raising up in Iran to share the Good News would have their eyes unblinded and their ears opened to hear the truth about Jesus
- That despite persecution and oppression, believers in Iran would have no desire to return to the bondage or slavery that God delivered them from, but they will maintain their freedom given to them in Christ
- That many in Iran would lay down their idols and cease from worshipping their pagan gods as they come into the knowledge of the One true God
- That You, Lord, would remind those believers in Iran that You, don’t stay angry forever because You delight in showing unfailing love (Micah 7:18)
- That many in Iran would no longer resist the Holy Spirit who is drawing them into a relationship with Christ
- That many in Iran would no longer be deaf to the truth of the Gospel and receive it with joy
- That believers in Iran would continue to be led by the Holy Spirit who fills them, and that they would turn their eyes heavenward in the midst of those who they have angered because they have preached the Gospel

خداوند عیسی ، من دعا می کنم ،
برای 3 مرد در ایران که به دلیل امتناع از انصراف از ایمان مسیحی خود به تازگی به 5 سال زندان محکوم شده اند ، تا آنها در ایمان خود تقویت شوند و بدانند خواهران و برادران در سراسر جهان برای آنها دعا می کنند

اینکه مسیحیان ایرانی ریشه عمیقی در مسیح داشته و مانند درختان با آب زنده محکم کاشته شوند و در فصل خود میوه بدهند
فرصت هایی برای 3 مرد مسیحی در ایران که زندانی شده اند تا شاهد همه کسانی باشند که در سیستم دادگاه و زندان در مورد عیسی ملاقات می کنند
اینکه مسیحیان ایرانی از جسارت برخوردار می شوند ، استفان ، اعمال 7 ، که نمونه آن را قبل از دولتمردان و رهبران در مکانهای بلند نشان می دهند تا با آنها بشارت دهند

Please enter into my heart, Lord Jesus, forgive me of all of my sins, and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose this day to live for You, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
