Hi all,
I decided to join with Beth Moore and do the 31 Days of Prayer, where we will be praying for 31 days for the month of July. I decided to include my prayers here for each country I am praying for and as the Holy Spirit leads. I pray you will join me.
This is the confidence [I] have before Him: If [I] ask anything according to His will, He hears [me]. And if [I] know that He hears whatever [I] ask [I] know that [I] have what [I] asked of Him.”
1 John 5:14-15, CSB (emphasis mine)
(Using Acts 9 to guide these prayers)
Father, I pray:
- That You Lord, would grant the churches in Azerbaijan favor with the government in order to safely acquire government registration
- That even through the process of applying for the registration of churches through the government, there will be opportunities for believers in Azerbaijan to witness to those in the government about Jesus
- That believers in Azerbaijan would be encouraged and strengthened in their faith through this government registration process for churches and that they would see The Lord’s hand working behind the scenes
- That the efforts of those who are ager to harm believers in Azerbaijan would be thwarted and instead, they would have a racial encounter with Christ and surrender to Jesus
- That believers in Azerbaijan would remain obedient to the Lord’s instructions concerning those who may have persecuted them so that they can still extend the love of Christ to them without bias
- That believers in Azerbaijan would reach out to those God has instructed them to reach out to be His chosen instruments to carry the Gospel to others
- That as believers lay hands on those who have surrendered to Jesus, they will be filled with the Holy Spirit and the scales will fall off their eyes, allowing them to see clearly
- That believers in Azerbaijan would be bold in their faith and preach about Jesus to those God leads them to
- That believers in Azerbaijan, because of the radical transformation that takes place in their own hearts and lives, others would be led to trust Jesus
- That believers in Azerbaijan would preach so powerfully that others in the country will not be able to deny that Jesus is the Son of God
- That believers in Azerbaijan would being together in support of their brothers and sister in Christ whose lives are being threatened and that they would seek the Lord for HIs protection
- That the churches in Azerbaijan would have peace through the country and become stronger as believers live in the fear of the Lord
- That churches in Azerbaijan would grow in numbers because of the encouragement of the Holy Spirit
- That many healings would take place among the people in Azerbaijan as those who are paralyzed and bedridden are able to get up and walk by the power of the Holy Spirit, causing many to trust in Jesus
- That many would believe in the Lord Jesus in Azerbaijan based on the news spread about those who were dead being raised to life by the power of God

***Tomorrow is not promised. Today is all we have. If you are reading this and haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior, would you consider doing so right now? Jesus died so He could have a personal relationship with you and so that one day, when you leave this earth, you can spend eternity with Him. You can say a prayer similar to this:
Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. You showed Your great love for me, while I was in my sinful state, by sending Jesus Christ to die for me. Today, right now, I declare that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Please enter into my heart, Lord Jesus, forgive me of all of my sins, and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose this day to live for You, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
